There are two ways you can tap to pay for fast, easy and secure checkout.
1) If your CCU Visa credit or debit card has the Contactless Indicator on it, you can use it to make purchases easily.
2) You can also tap and pay with your mobile device once your contactless-enabled CCU card has been added to your digital wallet. (See video below to learn more)

Will there be a charge if I want to receive a Contactless Card to replace my current card?
No, at this time there will not be a fee to update your card to Contactless.
I want a Contactless Card now. How do I get one?
I already have a CCU Visa card. When do I receive a Contactless card?
When your current card expires, the replacement card that you will receive will be a Contactless Card.
Are Contactless Cards accepted outside the United States?
Yes, Contactless Cards are accepted internationally. Look for the Contactless Symbol at checkout.
Where can I Tap to Pay?
Tap to Pay at many locations: fast-food restaurants, grocery stores, coffee shops, vending machines, taxis, public transportation and more- just look for the Contactless Symbol at checkout.
Are merchants ready for Contactless transactions? Do their terminals need to be updated?
Many merchants already updated their terminals to support Mobile Wallet payment methods, which utilizes similar technology.
Are Contactless transactions secure?
Just like the trusted security of chip cards, each transaction is accompanied by a one-time code that protects your payment information.
Can I unknowingly make a purchase if I am in close proximity to a Contactless-Enabled checkout terminal?
No. Contactless technology requires the merchant to first initiate the payment and the Contactless card must be held in close proximity (1-2 inches) to the terminal for a transaction to take place.
How close does the card need to be to the terminal?
Card needs to be within 1 to 2 inches of the Contactless Symbol for 1 to 2 seconds.
How does it work?
When you tap near the Contactless Symbol, your payment is sent for authorization.
What is Tap to Pay?
Tap to Pay is using your Contactless Card at an enabled terminal.
How can I tell if my card is Contactless?
Your card will feature the Contactless Indicator on either the front or back.
